Lawyers with the Florida attorney general’s office are reviewing a proliferation of GoFundMe.com campaigns and other crowdsourcing sites that claim to be dedicated to raising money for victims and victims’ families in the Orlando shooting, saying there is some concern of possible fraud because of the sheer volume of the sites. Office Depot has set its annual shareholders meeting for 9 a.m. July 13 — the first after a majority voted for a merger with rival Staples that never happened due to the federal government's challenge.
› Southwest Florida ambulance services not in insurance networks
Sarasota and Manatee Counties do not contract with any health insurance companies for ambulance service. Sarasota and Manatee are not unusual — in most states, both government-run and privately operated ambulance services do not participate in health insurance networks.
